I am Asuelimen Favour Isimhakhormhen, also known as AFI. I am a Content Writer, Editor and Proofreader, Project Management Professional, and Poet. In a little over 4 years, I started my writing and editing career; hence, I have worked with several international and national organisations as a freelancer on long-term and short-term projects. I have gained mastery of writing and editing to the point where I can do both professionally with my eyes closed, figuratively. I have a functional knowledge of diverse writing techniques and styles and can adopt advanced content management tools to produce the desired outcome.
As a certified, award-winning project management professional, I managed a Berlin-based climate change project (The Redefinition) in 2022 and the 2022 Batch B Stream 2 Osun Kopa Magazine.
As a lover of art and nature, I find solace and inspiration in soliloquies, meditations, and poetic conversations. My poem, While You Waited, was featured in Malimbe In-flight Magazine, Otherwise Engaged Literature and Arts Journal of Mexico, and the 2021 Festival Poetry Calabar Poetry Gallery. Likewise, I have been interviewed in the Najia Times newspaper and several reputable magazines.
